Moto C2 and C2 Plus Renders leaked, hints No Fingerpint Scanner on Moto C2!

After launching the new Moto G6 and E5 series, Motorola is planning to launch the second generation devices in its C series called as Moto C2. We don’t have any high expectations from the upcoming C2 and C2 plus as this is Moto’s budget lineup.

Now, the renders of Moto C2 and C2 plus have been surfaced online, and to be honest, the design is boring and follows the traditional Moto design language. The devices look a lot similar to the Moto E4 handset.

As you can see, the Moto C2 and C2 Play come with the old design with a display having 16:9 aspect ratio. The device exhibits thick bezels which make it look a bit dated, far from 2018 standards.

The Rear Camera setup is again similar to what we saw in past, large circular ring housing the single camera lens and a Dual-toneDual LED flash.

To our surprise, there is no fingerprint scanner present on the renders of C2, while C2 Plus has one below the display. Either C2 will skip fingerprint scanner and follow the Face Unlock trend which is followed by many entry-level smartphones like Honor 7s and RealMe 1 or else it will sport a fingerprint scanner at the back which is currently absent in the leaked renders.

Both the devices will come with a Front facing Flash similar to the other Moto Phones. There is no information about exact specifications and pricing as of now.

Samsung Galaxy J6 and A6+ retail box leaked, pricing confirmed

Samsung J6 and A6 Plus Retail Boxes

Samsung has already sent invites for its May 21 event in Mumbai where they will be launching four smartphones including Galaxy J6, Galaxy J6+, Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+.

Now, the images of retail boxes of Samsung Galaxy J6 and A6+ have been leaked ahead of the official launch which throws light on the pricing of both the devices.

Samsung J6 and A6 Plus Retail Boxes

There is nothing much written about the specifications but the mentioned MRP can be clearly seen. The MRP mentioned on the box of Galaxy J6 is Rs 14,990 and for the Galaxy A6+, the MRP written is Rs 28,000.

As we know that in general, the actual selling price of these devices is lower than the MRP written on the box, we can expect J6 to be sold at around 13,000 while the A6+ might be sold around Rs 25,000.

Samsung Galaxy J6 A6 Plus Retail Box

As mentioned on the box, both the devices will come with Infinity displays which hint towards 18:9 aspect ratio and J6 will be the first device in J series to adopt modern display design.

There is no confirmation about the exact specifications of the phones but as far as rumours are concerned, we might see Galaxy J6 come with a 5.6″ HD+ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 720×1480 pixels which is quite inferior to offerings from Honor, Xiaomi and Asus in the same price bracket. the device will be powered by Samsung’s own in-house Exynos 7870 chip clocked at 1.6GHz and will be available in 3 configurations including 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB Internal Storage.

Coming to the camera department, which again is not a strong point of budget Samsung phones, the J6 will sport a single 16MP Snapper on the back and an 8MP Selfie Shooter is given at the front. The device will run on Samsung’s Experience UI based on Android Oreo 8.0 and all this will be backed by a small 3000mAh battery with support for Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging. Samsung Pay is included as well for cashless payments.

The Galaxy A6+ is already launched in global markets, and sports a 6″ Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080p powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz while the A6 packs Exynos 7870 under the hood. The A6+ packs a 3500mAh battery sealed in and is available in 3/32GB and 4/64GB RAM and Storage Configurations.

While the Galaxy A6 sports a single 16MP Rear camera with a f/1.7 aperture on the rear, the A6+ on the other hand sports with a dual 16MP (f/1.7) + 5MP (f/1.9) Camera Setup. A6 and A6+ are equipped with a 16MP and 24MP Selfie shooter respectively.

Coming to extra features, in addition to Bixby Suite, support for NFC and GPS, Dolby Atmos is included for an immersive sound experience.

LG Q7 to come with Mediatek Helio P10 SoC!

LG has been already working on its new upcoming phone, the LG Q7 which will be a part of its midrange lineup and a successor to last years Q6. This year, they already launched their new flagship LG G7 ThinQ and will soon come up with LG V35 as well. LG Q7 will be the next smartphone in their midrange lineup. lg q6, lg q7, LG q7, lg q7 launch, lg q7 india, lg q7 price, lg q7 leaks, lg q7 processor

Now, the device has been spotted on GeekBench testing and the reports reveal that it will come with the mediocre Mediatek Helio P10 Chipset.

Now, looking at the scores, LG Q7 scores 630 in Single Sore test and 2322 in Multicore tests which is not something impressive. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and comes with MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at 1.51GHz coupled with 4GB RAM. Helio P10 is simply not justified given that the last gen Q6 had a Snapdragon 435 SoC.

Have a look at the Geekbench scores of last year’s LG Q6:

You can see that there is hardly any improvement in performance taking the fact in consideration that the Helio P10 exhibits heating issues as well.

Let us see how does it fare when it actually comes into the market. The LG Q7 will sport a similar resolution FullHD+ display as seen in Q6 and is expected to launch with one more variant called as LG Q7 Stylus (LM-Q710) which, as the name suggests, will come with a stylus.

LG Q7 is expected to be announced in July and the price is expected to be somewhere around $250-$300. It will be available for purchase in August following the same schedule as last year’s Q6.

RealMe 1 Video Leaked! Confirms Specifications (Now Deleted)

Realme1, oppo realme, relame 1 unboxing, realme 1 igyaan, realme1 specs, realme1 review, realme 1 review

You might have already heard the news about the Oppo’s upcoming RealMe series as a competition to current Budget Smartphones by Xiaomi, Moto, Asus and Honor.

RealMe 1 was going to be the first device in RealMe lineup and was set for unveiling on May 15th as an Amazon Exclusive Smartphone. Amazon teased the device regularly but didn’t mention anything about specifications.

The article was deleted as well!

But, all of a sudden, it’s Unboxing Video was published on Youtube by a major Tech channel: Igyaan. In addition to the video, an article regarding the unboxing and Initial Review of RealMe 1 was published on Igyaan network as well. The video was deleted soon after publishing (might have been published accidentally) as there were no official plans to reveal the device details now.

But, we have managed to grab couple of snapshots of video through some sources. Have a look at the images of RealMe1 below:

The above images clearly show the looks of device and its specifications as well!

The Oppo’s RealMe 1 sports a 6″ FullHD+ Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, there is no Notch similar to the Oppo F7.

The device comes with the same chipset found on Oppo F7 and Oppo A3 i.e. Mediatek Helio P60 which is a quite powerful chipset released recently by Mediatek and competes with Snapdragon 660 in terms of raw performance.

There are two options with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB Internal Storage.

The device looks very good in terms of design, especially the back. It looks similar to the one found on Oppo F7 Diamond Edition. Coming to the Cameras, there is a single 13MP Shooter on the rear and an 8MP Selfie shooter at the front. The camera is packed with AI features including smart scene detection.

The device is powered by a 3410 mAh battery. The specs are good for a budget offering like this but the absence of Fingerprint scanner is a big disappointment. To cover this device has an option to unlock the device using Facial Recognition driven by AI which we hope to work as fast as the one on Oppo F7.
